While drinking fruit juice and using liquid meals can lead to overeating easily since you get in a lot of calories that won’t do much for satiety, there is still a good way to enjoy some healthy drinks, especially post-workout: Instead of using juices, make a smoothie from whole fruits! That way you have all the fibers in the drink and the smoothie will really fill you up.
Here is a very easy and tasty smoothie recipe:
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana peeled, sliced and frozen banana
1 small orange
3 tablespoons low-fat greek yogurt
3 mint leafs
Simply put the frozen strawberries, banana and the peeled orange into a blender along with the greek yogurt. Blend up until it’s all smooth and squeeze the lemon into the smoothie.
Then add the mint, stir and enjoy!
